MRPL suffers Rs 62-cr loss in Q4; no dividend this year

WITH Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) suffering losses in three out of four quarters, the company has decided not to declare dividend for 2012-13. MRPL recorded a loss of Rs 61.90 crore (a profit of Rs 601.97 crore) in the fourth quarter, and a loss of Rs 756.91 crore (a profit of Rs 908.58 crore) during the fiscal 2012-13. A company statement said that in view of the losses for 2012-13 the board of directors did not consider to declare any dividend.
