GAIL Q4 profit soars 28% to Rs 618 crore

STATE-owned gas utility GAIL India Ltd reported a 28 per cent jump in its March quarter net profit on the back of a rise in margins from gas trading and higher revenues from its petrochemical business. Net profit in January-March at Rs 618.18 crore was 27.89 per cent higher than the Rs 483.34-crore net profit in the same period a year ago, the company said in a filing to the stock exchanges.
