Sustainable transport charity Sustrans showcased a new way of trialling physical changes to busy streets as part -of its celebrations to commemorate 20 years of the National Cycle Network. The Sustrans' 'street kit' is a modular temporary street furniture system. The furniture, inspired by the interlocking bicycle chain, can be situated in a parking bay or on the carriageway, reclaiming space from motor vehicles.
