Pacific Seafood has become the dominant force in crab processing in Oregon, if not on the West Coast. Pacific Seafood began in 1941 as a seafood store, later becoming a local distributor. The company started to grow significantly in the early 1980s with the purchase of a processing plant in Warren-ton. Today, Pacific Seafood Group is run by Frank Dulcich, grandson of the founder, and has become one of the largest vertically integrated, independently owned seafood companies in North America.
