National Hardware Show~R Does Well Despite Economic Challenges

What sound you heard emanating from the Southwest part of the country in early May was a collective sigh of relief that the National Hardware Show~R could hold its own in a struggling economy and a down housing market. The show, which took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center May 5-7, included a Paint & Accessories section that was of equivalent size to the section from last year's event. The activity in this section of the show was fairly steady throughout the prime show time hours and at some periods was downright robust. The majority of exhibitors seemed quite pleased by the traffic coming to their booths.
