Himadri Chem net up 20%

HIMADRI Chemicals & Industries, reported a 20 per cent increase in standalone net profit to nearly Rs 27 crore for the quarter ending March this year. It had reported a standalone net profit of Rs 22 crore for the corresponding quarter last fiscal. During the period, standalone net sales declined by 8 per cent to Rs 301 crore (Rs 329 crore). The FY13 standalone net profit stood at Rs 23.55 crore (Rs 63.31 crore). Company's 2012-13 consolidated net profit declined 83 per cent to Rs 9.4 crore as compared to the Rs 57 crore last fiscal. Consolidated net sales, however, increased by over 18 per cent to Rs 1353 crore (Rs 1145 crore).
