A method is disclosed to provide a metal printing ink,which retains good printing properties after stopping and resuming metal printing work.This invention comprises a metal printing ink containing a pigment component,a resin component and a solvent component.The solvent component contains 2-80 mass % hydrocarbon which has an aromatic ring and whose total carbon number is 22-45.
