Clay pipes play an important role in the modernisation and the extension of waste water systems. On account of their characteristics clay pipes are very long lasting and resistant to physical and chemical pressures. Due to the high level of water tightness waste water systems made from clay pipes are, above all, sustainable and almost maintenance-free in use. Clay pipes are often used especially in the Near East when the modernisation or extension of the existing infrastructure is concerned. A current project in Saudi Arabia with a special customer/supplier relationship is described below.
