June 2016 is the first anniversary of the commissioning of China's first imported fully automatic wide-body tunnel kiln tile production line at Foshan Rongguan Glass Material. Trend Industrial Ceramics/CN successfully designed, developed and supplied the kiln furniture and refractories for this project, and after one year of continuous use, both the lower level kiln car perimeter blocks and the H-cassettes are performing very well, with lower than expected losses on the cassettes and no losses on the perimeter blocks. This marks a significant improvement in reliability, cost efficiency and safety, reducing down time for the customer and increasing productivity whilst lowering energy costs.
