The increasing demands on powder presses due to more complex geometric shapes and press tooling require constant innovative enhancements by the press manufacturers. Today, hydraulic- as well as mechanical-hydraulic presses with up to 8 and more press axes in uniaxial press direction are standard in the production of complex shaped parts. Holes and fragment cuts in press direction can also be easily produced through core rods and punch designs.
