Drying Technology and Robot Plants for Large-size Facade Tiles

With the production facility for the Chinese enterprise CN Ceramic Co. Ltd. in Yixing City (Ji-angsu Province) LINGL ventures into new dimensions in many respects: the plant has been designed for the production of the enormous annual capacity of 700 000 m{sup}2 large-size facade tiles. By using the robot technology in the Chinese heavy clay industry for the first time LINGL has succeeded in a remarkable technical revolution for the production process. Moreover, only ten months elapsed between the receipt of the order and the acceptance of the plant.
