ProLogger Excels: The NCFA's ProLogger program continues to focus on safety

Since the NCFA, Forestry Mutual and OSHA came together to create the ProLogger in 1994 in response to a record-amount of fatalities in the state the previous year, the ProLogger Program has been one of the leading logger education programs in the Southeast. As its triangle logo indicates - the three basic elements of the ProLogger Program have always been, and will remain safety, business and the environment. In terms of safety, there is no doubt of the positive impact that Forestry Mutual's Bryan Wagner and North Carolina OSHA officials such as Squirrel Whitley have made on the individual loggers who have graduated fiom the program.
