This year we've expanded the ranking to include the top 150 design firms, which are ranked by their revenue in the Southwest for 2006. Rankings are also provided for each state, as well as various categories such as healthcare, surveying and transportation. The Top 150 reported 1.75 billion dollars in design work for 2006, a 14.4 percent increase over 2005. This reflects another year of gains for design professionals, which had jumped 12.5 percent last year, 8.7 percent in 2004 and 16 percent in 2003.
