Casino Arizona Tops off Casino Arizona Resort & Spa, an enterprise of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, topped off of its new 15-story hotel tower. The grand opening is planned for early 2010. Construction on the project began more than two years ago, commencing with a groundbreaking in September 2006 and has remained on schedule. Once complete, the Scottsdale resort will be comprised of 497 deluxe rooms, an open air spa, eight restaurants and 10 entertainment lounges. The property also will include a 750-seat showroom, a lively 240,000-sq-ft gaming floor, full-service pool as well as more 100,000 sq ft of indoor/outdoor conference space. Chanen Construction is the general contractor and KKFR is the architect.
