JMA Architecture Studios recently hired Carl von Hake as chief financial officer. Von Hake, a 27-year resident of Las Vegas and UNLV graduate, brings more than 18 years of financial management experience to the oldest and largest architecture firms in Nevada. Daniel J. Osterman has been promoted to pre-construction project manager for Sundt Construction, Inc. In his new position he is responsible for pre-construction services on Arizona projects, starting with conceptual estimating and extending through the design phase to the beginning of construction. Osterman is a graduate of the University of Arizona, and in his thirty-five-year career in the construction industry has worked on projects ranging in value from 50,000 dollars to over 200 million dollars.
