Wallace Field Area Wildcat Underway In Escambia County

ANKOR E&P Holdings Corp. has begun operations at a Smackover wildcat in the Wallace Field area of southern Alabama's Escambia County. The company has spudded and is drilling below 10,246 feet at the No. 1 Craft-Blackstone 19-3. A directional hole, it is being drilled from a surface location in Section NE NW Section 19 to a proposed bottom hole under NE NW Section 19-3N-9E.
