Recently, as the mobile communication apparatus represented by cellular phones and PHS have been disseminated, demand has grown for smaller, lighter and thinner devices inpursuit of portability. The electronic parts used for these products are thin and compact surface-mounted devices (SMDs). To hermetically seal the cover for the crystal resonator of SMDs or the ceramic package of the Surface Acoustic Wave filter is unimportant process. Origin Electric Company has developed various parallel seam sealer systems and met users' requirements, at the same time accumulating highly reliable parallel seam-splicing technologies. To cope with devices that are becoming increasingly compact, thin, and precise, we have developed and commercialized a new automatic parallel seam sealer system to promote low cost through higher speed, higher precision, and space-saving in consideration of newly developed types and maintainability.
