摘要

This work is dedicated to the theoretical modelling of the eddy current transducer with orthogonal coils destined to control flat metallic surfaces. The exact solutions of the Maxwell equations for the assembly transducer-conductive half-space are obtained by modelling the current source by a Dirac distribution and using the dyadic Green functions of the problem. Theoretical solutions are presented describing the transducer operation in the presence of a discontinuity in the conductive medium. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A. [References: 8]
