The Turkish long steel supply chainon Tuesday found rebar trending weaker thanusual with scrap and billet, exposing futuretighter mill margins, as key rebar producersoutlined sales prices for the finished productback toward the year’s low.Scrap prices were still punchy, off theearlier recent highs, but sitting Tuesdaycomfortably $20/mt, or 11.7%, above theyear's low. Billet prices firmed day on day,but were still below a week earlier, with weakiron ore prices pressing down for integratedmill product out of the Commonwealth ofIndependent States and from China.
