The managers of Kitimat LNG,the only liquefied natural gas terminal approved for construction so far on North America's west coast,have been negotiating hard to secure supplies for the terminal once it is complete.But they are competing in an increasingly tough market as evidenced by the fact that the worldwide shortage was topmost on the minds of the 5,000 participants in the LnG 15 conference in Barcelona,Spain at the end of April.
