But efficient operations are nothing less than the Holy Grail for natural gas-leveraged companies in today's lower price environment. Some players are taking the lead in seeking internal markets for their gas supply. Encana Corp. has been a long-time leader in these efforts, along with Chesapeake Energy, Pioneer Natural Resources, and other gas-focused producers.
