The rubber industry has been a major player in the ever burgeoning medical market since the time someone deemed that there was a medical market. We have come a long way from surgical gloves and condoms.The advancements in rubber technology have enabled elastomers to become the material of choice in a whole gamut of medical applications. If you have had any medical procedures lately, you know what I mean. Not only are you a receptacle for numerous tubes, hoses and wires, the machinery and equipment have numerous elastomeric parts.
