CHEMK'S KONGOR CHROME BRANCH APPLIES TO TRANSFER DEPOSIT LICENSES

Kongor Chrome, a branch of Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Works (ChEMK), has submitted applications to reregister two licenses to chrome deposits in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, a source at the regional natural resources department told Interfax on April 1. He said the Federal Subsurface Resources Agency is now reregistering the license to the Central chrome ore deposit at the Rai-Izsky block, where Kongor Chrome has been conducting mining operations for several years.
