Illuminating Practice

COLLABORATIONS-LISA KATZENSTEIN is stimulated by working with two painters. When painters and ceramists meet, their encounter can throw up new possibilities for both mediums, each illuminating the other. For the last three mediums, each illuminating the other. For the last three years I have worked with the painters Eileen Cooper and Charlotte Hodes, helping them to realize their own personal artistic language within a ceramic context. It has been a technical, intellectual and aesthetic challenge.
