TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEMS IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING: CONCEPT OF AUTOMATED TECHNICAL-ECONOMIC ANALYSIS IN PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

An important problem for the machinery-building enterprises is the determining of the technical-economic indices (TEIs) of the products that are being produced (their labor content, material content, production cost) and also the production capacity that is required for their manufacture (the types and numbers of the processing machines, the production areas, the number of employees) on the basis only of the analysis of the design documentation, i.e., prior to the development of the technological process. The data that are obtained in this analysis are used in the following cases: 1) in comparing the alternative variants of the products and assemblies; 2) in drawing conclusions on the manufacturability of the products in stages of the preliminary and certification tests; 3) in determining the cost of the fabrication of the component parts of the product by the associated enterprises; 4) in planning the expenditures on organizing the production of the product, including the licensing costs, on the territory of a foreign country.
