It is a great pleasure to join others in honoring Larry Yannuzzi: a great ophthalmologist, a great friend, and a great man who showed us the path to reach improvements in the diagnosis and therapy of retinal diseases.I met him more than 35 years ago, initially in Trieste and then again in Firenze and Milano. We have since attended countless international meetings on retinal diseases together. With, I hope, mutual satisfaction and enjoyment.Larry can certainly be identified as the Band Director of Case Presentations in Fluorescein Angiography: he is always the most competent moderator of the discussion and he is always right.
