SOMETHING ABOUT LARRY

At the American Academy of Ophthalmology annual meeting for the past 5 years, Larry, Michael Engelbert, Jennifer, and I have hosted a program for vitreoretinal fellows called Retina Jeopardy, which is based on the popular television game show "Jeopardy." One of the most popular categories to formulate questions around has been "There's Something about Larry," which of course is a takeoff based on the movie "There's Something about Mary." We write questions based on the numerous conditions that Larry has published on throughout his career and test the vitreoretinal fellows. Needless to say, Larry has become the centerpiece of the Retina Jeopardy game show, and the vitreoretinal fellows in attendance love it. Although Larry's professional work is well known to all of us, and his publications are utilized in our Retina Jeopardy game show, we would like to add a few more things about Larry.
