CEC Refines ‘Green’ Transportation Energy Plan

In early September, the California Energy Commission(CEC) unanimously adopted the state’s third annual trans-portation energy-investment plan to help change the types ofvehicles Californians drive and the fuels they use.The latest “Investment Plan for the Energy Commission’sAlternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle TechnologyProgram” prioritizes US$100 million in state funds to le-verage funding and investments from federal agencies, re-search institutions, private investors, auto manufacturers andother stakeholders.
