Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America is soliciting interest for additional capacity for two of the company’s natural gas pipeline systems -- the Chicago Market Expansion and Gulf Coast Southbound Expansion projects

The company has budgeted $623 million for the two expansions. In March, NGPL secured approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for the first phase of the Chicago Market Expansion, which will run from Moultrie County in central Illinois, north to the Chicago area. The expansion would increase capacity by 238 million cubic feet per day while a second phase would increase capacity by 200 MMcf/d.
