For most of us "contamer gardening means putting a fanciful combination of annuals in pots sometime in late May or early June. Then we wait a few weeks or a month until they really kick in. We can be sure to enjoy a colorful display in July and August--maybe September in a good year--before the first snow or hard frost puts an end to the show by October at the latest.
