Paraneoplastic neurological disorders (PND) are defined as syndromes that represent remote effects of malignancy at the nervous system that are not caused by direct or metastatic infiltration [1]. The mechanism is believed to be an autoimmune response to nerve cells' antigens that are also expressed by the tumor [2]. Several types of neuronal autoantibodies have been detected in the serum of many, though not all, patients with PND [3].
