Direct-fired regenerative burner

摘要

NKK Corporation in collaboration with Nippon Furnace Kogyo have developed a regenerative burner. The newly developed regenerative burner is equipped with honeycomb regenerator. The honeycomb regenerator has advantages in compactness, thermalresponse and heat exchange efficiency over conventional ball regenerator. The NOx emission from the burner is 40ppm (@11% oxygen concentration) at preheated air temperature 1570K. This was achieved by applying fuel staged combustion and optimized burnerhardware design.
