NKK has developed hot-rolled titanium-clad steel sheet, based on the manufacturing technology for titanium-clad thick steel plate. The key points of development are as follows:1) The slab assembly method under high vacuum.2) Optimization in chemical composition of base steel.3) High reduction in rolling by tandem type hot-rolling mill.
