The sun provides the focus for a global lifestyle anchored on Auckland's Takapuna beach. Three levels of Guy and Sue Haddleton's house look directly out at a view that's every bit as classic as their French-inspired architecture. On this late summer morning, the ruffled water of Takapuna beach is softly lit, separated from them only by strips of grass and sand. And in the background is that most iconic of Auckland landmarks, Rangitoto Island.
