摘要

Nurses who are obese need to be aware that their weight could be damaging their careers as well as their health.Research has found that being obese, particularly for women, can affect job opportunities, education, income and occupation.A study published in May by a team of researchers from the UK, Czech Republic, Slovenia and the Netherlands, asked more than 180 recruiters to look at identical CVs with accompanying photographs depicting fat or thin people. CVs from men and women of normal weight scored higher than the identical CVs picturing obese applicants.
