摘要

The move from an Auckland inner-city warehouse and glorious courtyard to a grand old Herne Bay villa left photographer Sally Tagg feeling far from home. After years of surrounding herself with punchy colour and leafy subtropicals, the traditional formal garden of a wedding cake villa felt distinctly at odds with her personality. "I knew it wasn't me," she says of the rigid paths and rose gardens of her new home. But neither did she want to repeat what she'd done before. "I wanted something completely different."
