Conoco Seeking Restart of Alaska LNG Exports From Kenai Terminal

ConocoPhillips is seeking US Department of Energy (DOE) permission to export LNG from the now-shuttered Kenai LNG terminal in Alaska. A Conoco subsidiary, Alaska Natural Gas Corp. (ANGC), has applied to export 40 billion cubic feet per year over a two-year period, on a short-term or spot basis, to countries the US has a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with as well as to those countries which it does not.
