So far,it hasn't been easy to find common ground on protection for the greater sage grouse,a unique bird sharing large areas of land with oil and gas production areas in the western Rockies.But in recent months,part of the debate has shifted toward a goal that both industry advocates and conservationists may agree on:offering enough protection to sage grouse.
