Total process organization: integration of design, assembly planning and quality assurance

摘要

This essay proposes a concept to facilitate an integration of the processes of design, assembly planning and preventive quality assurance. The basis of the concept is an analysis of single process chains at a manufacturer of electric tools. Thecentral idea of the concept is a early consideration of all relevant criteria in order to improve the quality and efficiency in assembly of the products. Finally, the integration will be supported by well-defined coordination processes.
