Victorian grain growers Vaughn and Lisa Maroske invested in silos to increase harvest flexibility and marketing opportunities — and they paid for themselves in just six months. A combination of planning, timing and a bit of luck saw Victorian grain grower Vaughn Maroske's grain storage pay for itself in its first year. "Short-term on-farm storage allows me to get my grain off the paddock quickly and into storage when quality is optimal," Vaughn said.
