Banks satisfy but service fees disappoint

The 2009 National Agricultural Survey (MAS) asked Kondinin Group members to rate their satisfaction with their banking institution and to identify areas for improvement. This article provides a snapshot of the survey results and a review of the impactof the GFC on Australian banks in terms of agribusiness. For the complete Research Report please see your copy of Group Talk. The global financial crisis (GFC) thrust chaos on finance markets across the world. As a result of the world economic meltdown, business and consumer confidence fell and some countries slipped into recession. But with the GFC epicentre in the United States (US), Australian banks felt only relatively minor tremors compared with some other countries.
