Pilot program expands support role for agronomists

Agronomists who understand the financial implications that their crop recommendations may have on a farm business are better placed to help growers manage both agronomic and financial risks. That's the thinking behind a pilot program the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) has developed for farm agronomic advisers, a project driven by southern region panel member Dr Allan Mayfield.
