摘要

We study the transmissive and spectral properties of mechanical waves in a 1D random system with correlated disorder. The system considered is a string regularly loaded by two kinds of resonators, one of which appears randomly in pairs. We show the existence of unity resonant transmission peaks, corresponding to extended modes. Each resonance width is controlled by the mass of the dimer resonator and the size of the system. This system seems to be a good filter for mechanical waves and the model can be extended to acoustical waves. [References: 12]
