KOMATSU America Corp announced on September 19 the sale of more than 200 million US dollars worth of mining trucks and support equipment to the China National Coal Development Corp (CNCDC). The deal represents one of Komatsu's largest ever single-truck orders. The majority of this equipment will consist of up to 50 930E mining trucks (photo right), which are the largest produced by Komatsu, with a payload capacity of 2901, gross vehicle weight of 502 kg, AC drive and 2,700 hp engine. The trucks will be shipped from the Peoria manufacturing facility in Illinois.
