Young Leaders Committee members meet with the Emerging Leaders Alliance

In October 2008, three representatives from SME's Young Leaders Committee, Shaun Graber, Angie Harmon and Richard Bishop, gathered in Pittsburgh, PA for the inaugural meeting of the Emerging Leaders Alliance (ELA). They were joined by other young professionals from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Association for Iron and Steel Technology, the Society of Petroleum Engineers and The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society. Michael Karmis, president of AIME, and John Murphy, president of the SME Foundation, were also present.
