Cobar facing ore issues head on

Cobar Consolidated has announced several funding initiatives including restructuring of financing facilities and commencement of a $12.2 million entitlement offer to support its working capital position and repay banking facilities while it seeks to repair ongoing processing problems at its Wonawinta silver mine. Soon after production commenced at the mine in July 2012 Cobar recognised that a significant level of high-grade oversized material was being rejected to the stockpile, leading to a subsequent build-up of in-circuit stocks.
