Cristal commissioning Campaspe plant

Saudi Arabian controlled Cristal Mining is in the final stages of commissioning its new processing plant near Broken Hill. Cristal owns the former Bemax Resources mineral sands portfolio in Western Australia and New South Wales following a successful off-market bid in 2008. The new facility should be up and running soon and will triple Cristal's output in NSW. The first material has already been shipped to Adelaide for sale, and work will soon start on processing a one million tonne stockpile of mineral sands that has built up at the company's Gingko mine.
