This document aims to critically discuss the theme of pixação from the context of the visual arts in contemporary Brazil, considering the discussions in recent times about what art is today and what is pixação. To do this, it will bring an approach to the poetic aspects related to the work DISCURSOS URBANOS MARGINAIS that integrated the collective exposition INcômodo in November 2016. The pixação will be approached as a political practice of defining a vacancy for the dominated community in the production and reflection of the urban space.
