VAI-CON~R Temp: Continuous Temperature Monitoring In Metallurgical Vessels for Improved Process Control

VAI has successfully developed and implemented a new continuous temperature monitoring system for metallurgical vessels which is marketed under the trade name of VAI-CON~R Temp. Exhaustively tested and proven under industrial conditions in KMS, AOD, LD and vacuum degassing facilities, this innovative system offers considerable potential for improved process control in steelmaking. The VAI-CON~R Temp solution provides highly accurate temperature results during the entire heat cycle, fully substituting conventional, discontinuous temperature-measurement techniques.
