Class 230s laid up as Vivarail appoints administrators

THREE CLASS 230 units supplied to West Midlands Railway subsidiary London Northwestern Railway for use on the Marston Vale route between Bedford and Bletchley have been taken out of service after Vivarail entered administration on December 1. Vivarail has supplied diesel, electric, battery and bi-mode trains converted from former London Underground D78 Stock to LNR, South Western Railway, Transport for Wales and Great Western Railway, but LNRisthe operator that has been most affected by the administration.
